  • Description

We are very lucky and proud to present to market this absolutely stunning Laser blue beauty. With the full attitude of Sonic the hedgehog on four wheels, it goes like a stabbed rat, sounds incredible and handles like it is permanently mated to the tarmac. The particular example is one of those cars that proves my theory of mileage being your friend. It drives and handles impeccably, super tight and accurate in a way that’s truly hard to convey unless you’re sat in the driver’s seat, so why not come and fulfil the boyhood dream – you won’t be disappointed, I guarantee you!

Slide into the beautifully finished and airy cabin, all trimmed in lovely leather, you’ll notice the absence of the standard Tuscan seats or hardbacks, as one owner opted to upgrade to Sparco seats, trimmed to suit the car. improving on the already excellent driving position, it just feels right in every way. Enveloped in leather and alloy in the way only TVR could do so well in the 2000’s. It hasn’t dated and in this colour combo, you’d be forgiven for thinking it wasn’t a newly released machine. I think you’ll agree their hard edged and aggressive silhouette has aged so very well.

Flick the key and she fires into life, exhaust crackles and you’re ready for the ride of your life. Any Sagaris will far exceed expectations. No, it is not a kit car, no it will not fall apart as you drive it. The build quality is probably the best of all of the low volume British sports car manufacturers, Noble M12s, a Lotus Exige would all beg to be so well appointed! “Reliability!” I hear you cry! Well, no need to worry there either, as this car proves, they’re more than capable of doing plenty of enjoyable miles when they’re well looked after. We have sold and driven cars with much higher mileage that are also in just as great order – see the Piston Heads video they took of our 94k mile car to celebrate 25 years of PH recently. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwQ4Pg8FuYE So, when I say it drives a peach, it really is spot on.

  • Technical specification

This particular Sagaris has recently had the front end resprayed as it had some stone chips commensurate with the mileage, then the beautiful Laser blue paintwork has been PPF protected, but not just the front end, the entire car! So that it looks resplendent for many years to come. Having undergone a full body off refresh with St8six in 2020 at great expense, it is as fresh as a daisy on top and underneath and drives like a new car.

With a full and comprehensive history folder, every move this car has made is documented from when it left the factory. With the original book pack present, two keys, fobs and the binder to boot. Every invoice is also within the history file too. For the budding enthusiast there is even one of the very rare Sagaris technical manuals available by separate negotiation.

The last service was conducted by TVRSSW at 65,799 miles, being a full 12k service, so all of the fluids, filters and plugs are fresh. The front and rear splitters have also been re-sprayed to remove any stone chips, so the car presents even better in the flesh than it does in our photos.

There isn’t a lot not to like, a car with perfect history, set up and driving impeccably. A wonderful and desirable colour combo, upgraded seats, with fresh and well protected paintwork. Fully serviced too, it is ready to be enjoyed by the new owner. Even if you’d prefer to look at it, we can’t say we’d blame you, these cars are only going one way in value, especially with only 110 taxed on the U.K roads as of today’s date, their rarity is only increasing and only around 5 years until the Americans will start hunting them down, it’s a surefire investment to boot, what else can you buy for the money that’ll compete?

So, if it’s that good, why is the car for sale? Because the owner wants the Lister F-Type that we have listed on our website, that’s the only reason!
